Nobody Tells Business Owners This… One Day You’ll Realize… You’re Not Fighting the Competition Anymore. You’re Fighting Yourself.
Remember when you first started your business?
You thought your biggest challenge would be the company across town.
The one with more trucks.
More employees.
More advertising.
You thought if you could just outwork them…
You’d make it.
Funny how that changes.
Because somewhere along the way…
You stop worrying about the competition.
And you start worrying about yourself.
Did I price that job right?
Should I have hired that employee?
Can I really afford another truck?
Am I making the right decisions…
Or am I just hoping they work out?
Nobody tells you that the biggest battles eventually happen in your own head.
The second-guessing.
The responsibility.
The constant pressure to get it right.
Not because your competitors are beating you…
But because you’re trying so hard not to let your people down.
I’ve noticed something after working with business owners for years.
The ones who care the most…
Question themselves the most.
The ones who lose sleep…
Usually aren’t the careless ones.
They’re the ones carrying the weight of every decision because they genuinely want to do right by everyone around them.
So if you’ve been questioning yourself lately…
Can I tell you something?
Questioning your decisions doesn’t make you a bad business owner.
It usually means you care enough to get them right.
There’s a big difference.
Just don’t let self-doubt become louder than the evidence.
Look at how far you’ve come.
Look at the people you’ve helped.
Look at the business you’ve built.
You’re probably doing better than the voice in your head wants you to believe.
Nobody tells business owners this.
So I will.
Sometimes the biggest obstacle standing between where you are…
And where you’re going…
Is the conversation you’re having with yourself.
💜
You’re building more than a business.
Don’t forget to take care of the person building it.
